There was a moment in Wednesday night’s 1-0 win over Salt Lake City that stuck out in an otherwise monotonous first half. Jay Chapman, 22, pushed forward out of midfield, swiveling his hips to walk past a pair of defenders, before exploding towards Salt Lake’s back four. He looked fast and decisive. He forced a defender to commit before dishing wide to set up a chance that inevitably went begging.
